Theory Test Preparation

A practical guide to building theory-test habits alongside driving lessons.

Theory preparation works best when it is treated as part of learning to drive, not as a separate task left until the end. Road signs, priorities, stopping distances, and hazard perception all connect directly to what happens in lessons.

Use short daily practice sessions and review the questions you get wrong. If a topic keeps repeating, bring it into your next lesson so your instructor can connect the rule to real roads.

Hazard perception improves when you actively ask what could change next: a pedestrian near the kerb, a vehicle waiting to emerge, a hidden driveway, or a cyclist ahead. The earlier you notice a developing hazard, the more time you have to respond safely.
